10 On 26 June there was a rumor prevailing among high-ranking North Korean
Officers that Molotov and other Soviets would soon visit North Korea to
decide on a plan to drive out United Nations troops. According to the
rumors the Soviets have promised the North Korean government more
logistical aid and have promised to keep the Chinese Communist troops in
Korea until. United Nations troops withdraw. After the withdraw4 North
Korean troops alone are to attack the Republic of Korea, The North
Korean government has initiated a propaganda campaign to induce the North
Koreans to "fight to the last 7uano8

Chinese Communist troops will be replaced in Korea by North Korean troops
now training in anchuria0 About 120,,000 North Korean troops are now being
trained and equipped at Holung, Yenchh, Lunchingts?un and Tumen0, The
North Korean IV9 VII, and XXIII (sic) Corps are now ready to move back into
Korea. There is a tentative agreement that the Chinese Communist troops
will pull out when tha: United Nations troops withdraw'. By that tine the
North Korean Army will be about the same size as it was in June 19500
