On 15 May 1951 the Ic)J units occupied the guard poste on Belasica Mountain. 2. One of the infantry regiments of the division in Osijek is stationed in Nasice 25X1X During December 1950, and January, February and March 1951, about one hundred men of Various units of 50 Division were assigned to dig trenches on the Yugoslav Albanian border near the village of Banjiste, which is about two kilometers west of Debar. The trenches were dug about three hundred meters from the border for a distance of about 3,500 meters. They were dug in a zigzag manner and were about 110 one deep and 50 am. wide. Emplacements for machine gums and mortars were also constructed. fit. In January 1951 there were several Albanians in the UDB prison in Debar who had been arrested as spies for the Albanian Government. One night in January the chief of the UDB in Debar, a Cominformist, armed all of the arrested men and escaped with therm into Albania.
