oceanic travel. Three new ocean-going motor vessels of 4,200 tops each are
currently being constructed, while six additional vessels of similar tonnage
are in the stage of planning. The shipyard also makes gener?al repai 's? The
regiment which is housed in old barracks on Zupani.jska Road. Tiro battalions
of this regiment are reported to be stationed in Osijek, while the third battalion
Is located in Donji. Yii.holjac, Daily maneuvers are carried out by units of the
infantry regiment on the right bank of the Drava Rivera An artillery wilt with
7.62 mma caliber guns of Soviet manufacture is located in Osijek. in the barracks
on Zupanijaka Road, An infantry unit and a non-cormi..ssioned officers school
are located on Nukovareka Road, in the vicinity of the railroad station. A
pontoon battalion with a strength of from 500 to 600 men,, and an adequate supply
of pontoon equipment is located in the lower part of Osijek (Donji Grad), in
barracks near the .DravaRiver. An armored unit Is also located in Donji Grad,
in newly constructed bui.ld1n a of the Osijek exposition area.
In 1950 Yugoslavia had a total of 48 vessels (sic) with a gross weight of 201,559
tons. The toil in losses through mine explosions and similar accidents since
1945 amounted to four vessels, or a total of 13,395 trans. In -1950 the 3 t

The headquarters of the 10 Autonomous Artillery Group is at Kamni.k, 20 kilometers
north of Ljubljana. The units are housed in buildings once occupied by the
former Forest Administration. The 10 Autonomous Artillery Group which is cbin andod
by Capt. Narjano'ric,, comprises four batteries, each battery constituting three
aections. The batteries have six cannons each. All can one are Soviet model.,s
Additional officers on the staff of the Artillery Group are a Berkovic, a Marolit,
and a Nikolic (ranks unspecified). Six topographers equipped with instruments
of German manufacture are attached to the Artillery Group proper. Each battery
has attached to it a communications unit of radio, telegraph, and telephone
operators.
2. A large infantry unit is stationed at Radovijica in "lovenia, and is housed in
barracks which were constructed at one time by the Germs. It is assumed that
this unit, together with the infantry regiment at Hojstrana, which is believed
to be the 4.1 Infantry Regiment, belong to an infantry division with possible
headquarters in Ladovljlcal. An anti-aircraft artilJ.ery officers' school is
located in Ljublj ana

at Sibenik? and among them the minesweeper 13..203 is listed.
