It will be realized that the absence of officers,, NCOrs and men,,

On this basis, the monthly cost of these allowances alone for the
force that has been actually sent will amount to about IDE.1,085f000
(case thousand and eighty-five Dinars). 'This expenditure ,sill increase
if any additional forces are sent later.
The difference between the coat of - rations at Syrian prices and the
cost at the price fixed in Iraq, and the other expenses of fuel and
accessories for the aircraft and mechanical vehicles, cannot be
assessed at this atege4 It is requested, therefore, that the question
be submitted to the Council of Ministers for their approval aft
a. The grant of additional allowances in the ratio explained in
sub-Paragraphs a,b, c, d, and e of - Paragraph 3 above for the
while period for which this force,, and any other force sent
later, remains in Syria,
b. An Increase in the Ministry of Defenses budget for 1951 to cower
the expenses that will be incurred in this operation,
