1. In mid-June 195'1 elements of the Chinese Communist 771 Unit (sic) were at
33 1;eite (Alf i ', ) Street, T ukden. The 3 Battalion, 1061 Detachment, 106
Unit, (sic) was at Mukden.
2. In early T.V the "International Red Cross" in Tientsin recruited 198 medical
personnel from hospitals in the Tientsin area for service in Korea.
On 25 May 108 of these left for Korea. In early June the remaining 90 were
preparing to leave soon.
3o In late May Tientsin authorities were intensifying efforts to obtain volunteers
for the Chinese Comrminist Army from students in middle schools and colleges
in Tientsin,. 25X1 C
lp In mid--June elements of the 16 Division, Chinese Camrmznist 6 Artillery, (sic)
were in the Urumchi area. The political section of the 7 Cavalry Division
Bras at Ch'it'ai (59-26, 44-03).
