were occupied by trucks of HVA and VP

Improvement of the field done by 1,,500 laborers
in three shifts, oince early May 1951, 50 to 80
Soviet soldiers of a tractor brigade employed at the
field. Gravel for runway construction arrived.
Grading work, Construction on surface runway not
started.
Hangars dismantled; Comm =ist youth home and weather
station housed in the only remaining building; part
of landing field plowed.
One PO-2 landed.
