General
Article 1. The purpose of this organization is to unite in one organization
Bulgarian emigrants now living in Yugoslavia.
Every Bulgarian over 114 yoars of age who lives-in Yugoslavia
and agrees to take an active part in. the Society may become
a member.
The headquarters of the Society is located at (not given),
Belgrade, and will have its own seal with the following words
(omitted).
To provide the greatest opportunity for Bulgarians in Yugoslavia
to join the Society, local branches of the Society may be or-
ganized in cities and towns where there are at least 10
Bulgarians who wish to become members.
Aims of the Society
Article 5. With the aim of developing pacific and friendly relations
between nations, strengthening international peace and security,
frustrating aggression and respecting the human rights of
citizens, the Society wills
as work for closer understanding and better relations between
the peoples of Bulgaria and Yugoslavia and educate its
members toward a friendly collaboration;
b. work for the political, cultural and educational improve-
ment of its members by developing in them a social.

Article 15. The Executive Committee may draft a program regarding the work
of the departments of the Society.
Article 16. The organization of the Committee will be within the limits
set by the above regulations,

Article 11. The financial needs of the Society will be met by dues, the
amount to be decided upon by the Assembly, admissions charged
for spectacles organized by the Society, and other sources (sic).
Article 18. The suspension of the activity of the Society may be decided
upon by the Assembly by a majority of two-thirds of the vote
of the total membership In the case that the Society is dis-
banded, the Assembly will decide as to the disposition of the
real property.
Article 19. All regulations will come into force at the time they are
accepted by the Assembly and can be changed only by the
Assembly,
Article 20. Membership in the Society ceases after resignation, expulsion
or death.

consciousness based on the respect of political, economical
and cultural achievements of the peoples of both countries;
c. educate its members in the spirit of a brotherhood and
union between both countries;
do extend active help to the people of Yugoslavia in the
building of socialism in their country. To realize these
ends tht society rill collaborate with Yugoslav social or-
ganizations and especially organizations of the People's

Rights and Duties of Members
Article: a. Every member of the Society has the right to take part in the

work of the Society, to elect and be elected to offices of the
Society, to express his opinion in connection with the work of
the Society, to take part in debates on the policies of the
Society, and to resign from the Society if he wishes.
Members are obliged to abide by the decisions of the Society,
to pay dues, to protect the property of the Society, to
educate themselves in line with the aims of the Society, to do
nothing through their own personal conduct which would die-,
credit the Society, and do everything possible for the
realization of the aims of the Society.
Article 10. Members of the Society may be punished by reprtmande and et-w
pulsion. Members may be expelled for disregar?ding the 'ogulations
of the Society and for activity contrary to the aim.Q of the
Society, The expelled member has the right of petition against
the decision at the first meeting of the Executive Committee
(Odbor) following his expulsion.

Organization of the SocijtZ
Article 12 The Society is divided into the following sections: Assembly,
F -,vcutive Committee and the Control Commission.
Article 13o The Assembly is the supreme organ of the Society. A meeting of
the Assembly will be seltsduled once a year although a special
Assembly may be called by decision of the Executive Committee
or by two*ithirds of the members of the Society. The decisions
of the Assembly are binding if at ::east half of its members are
present. The Assembly elects the Executive Committee and the
Control Commission.
Article 14. The Executive Committee consists oafs President, Secretary,
Treasurer and four other members. The Control Commission con--
sistee of three members. The Executive Committee may be divided
into separate departments for different activities; political,
educational, cultural, social, et cetera.
