THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
On 20 June 1951 advanced units of the Chinese Communist 22 Field Army,
Southwest China Aiiilitary Area, arrived in Lhasa, Tibet. These included
an armored division of the 13 Arx y, commanded by CHI M Hai-lion.
Comment. According to available information, there is no 22
Field Arm. The 13 Army, 4 Army Group, 2 Field Army, commanded by CHOU
Hsi-han, was reported in Yunnan and Kwangsi on 6 June 1951. CHIEN Hsi..
lion was at that time reported as in command of the 3 Army Group, 2 Field
Army, in Korea. in late April 1951 a mechanized
artillery army group, with CHTE.IT Hsi-Tien as commander, had been organized
at Anta, 4snchuria.
