Strict security precautions were observed. It was prohibited to approach the trains Chile they were stopped in the station,, and the train guards had orders to shoot anyone violating the order. Each train was protected by machine g+ms. 3,. Troop trains similar to those seen in Sinsia were observed all along the Sinaia- 4. to About 20 April. 1951 there were heavy movements of troops on the Ploesti--Stalin (Brasov) railroad line. The troop trains passed through Sinaia at the rate of one train every 90 minutes, The average train consisted of 15 flat ears carry- ing heavy tanks, 15 freight cars carrying enlisted men and supplies and two passenger cars carrying officers. The trains were headed for Arad and Satu Mare, and were destined for Czechoslovakia. Curtici line through Rumania and in Hungary as far as Budapest. The Bekescsaba railroad yards were crarmied with similar trains It was not possible to be sure of the nationality of the troops involved,, in view of the sir.ilarity in the uniforms of all the Coninformist countries.
