(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO 25X1X REPORT NO. 1. Prior to July 1951, the Soviets established a training center for jet pilots in Manchuria for Chinese, Korean, Mongolian, and Japanese cadets. In late June, the North Korean Air Force recruited 3,000 candidates for training as jet pilots. Of this group, 1,200 men passed aptitude tests and were sent to the Manchurian training center. 2. `Isere wore new airfields under construction at Chunghwa (125118, 3852) (XD 4305) and Hungsu (12602, 38..27) (BT 11159) on 20 July. 3. In late July, it was rumored among workers at Aoji-dong (130-2b, 11231) (FC 1,508) Mine that the Soviets will sell the North Korean government 500 T-34 tanks, 200 self-propelled guns, plus other arms in exchange for North Korean monazite.
