The guns and motor vehicle we:re lined ap at the same place. The road leading from Apetlon to the Ape.:1011 Maierhof ( dairy), situated 2.5 km. south of the center of Apetlon, wa blocked'. to traffic by a road barrier. AAA officers were billeted in the customs houses in Apetlon. AAA firing practice v:ould start on 5 June 1951. Apart . from the motor vehicles mentioned above, 9 van-like trucks - vicre seen --an 30 May which had apparently arrived by road. Troops in the camp practiced with three AA machine guns the sans day. Jeep coming from the direction of Apetlon on 31 May,, carried a captain and a senior lieutenant, vkto wore red-bordercd black epaulets and had portfolios with them, to the Pamhagenl [railroad station, where bath officers boarded the train toward Neueics1.1 .* A train from.
