1. Chinese Co"u_r_ists are nnianning to invade Kengtung District, Burma.
2. Six thousand troops of the Chinese Co?run st 39 Division'- are assembled
at Ch l e1i (100-50; 2-1-58). Fohai (100-26; 21-58), and Nanchiao (100-17;
22-00). Members of this division claim that the Communist plan is to
invade southeast Asia via Burma,.
3. I o thousand Chinese Co-nmist troops at V"angshih (98--35; 24-25) are to
advance south along t?e Burr,-Yunnan border.
4. Fifteen thousand Chinese Cornunists2 are concentrated in the Vbng M -
Veng Lien areas. Six hundred r1en are to attack ". ong Yang (99-42; 21-50)
and Mon We (99-37; 21-39). One thousand are to attack Pang Yang
(98-49; 22--0.8), 30C will attack Hong Pu (9P,45; 20-55), and 600 will
Tiarch toward rengP,ung (99-36; 21-17). The plan calls for a combined
attack br Chinese and Burmese Communists.
