Since Anril 1951 the Soviet 68 Airbo.'no Division has been in Tientsin, training Chinese Communist troops in that area.1 This division, which is known as a raider division# was originally one of six raider divisions under the command of the Soviet 68 ArrTy Grow) in the east coastal area of Siberia. In early Atag;ust the corraniiin,g officer of the 68 Division was Major General Ko-fu-ssu-te (` ~` ~ #4 j t,) `?Govstyev). In early August the division cor > prised six -oar acroon battalions frith a total of 120 officers and 2,304 pen.
