1. . The I Labor Company which is located on the Yugoslav border with Italy is
under the jurisdication of the 64 Battalion. The commander of the Oonrpany
is Lt. Srecko Zelic, and the assistant commander is Second Lt. Fazlija
Paranis. Sergeant Major Ufle Vukovic is the Adjutant. Ivan Kostov, and a
certain Djuric are platoon commanders, The Company does not have armament.
The only exception to this are the guards who are armed. The reason for this
is that the Company constitutes numerous unreliable members. The morale
of the men is reportedly poor,, and they are alleged to have once gone on
strike as a result of the bad food. Upon that occasion, eight men were
tried by a military trial..
2. The headquarters of the 64 Battalion is at Tolmin. a, ijor P4arinko Delic is
commander of the Battalion, and his assistant is Captain Calic. Captain
Simo Buncic is the political commissar. Second Lt. Sane is Communist
Party Representative to the Battalion. His duties are connected solely with
Communist Party work, and he proposes the candidates for membership in the
Party.
4 The 7 Border Company which has headquarters at Kombresko is commanded by
a Captain Mile. The political con is.sem is a Captain Zatezaio. The 7
Border Company is in charge of check points which are located at Kombresko,
Podbreg, Kostan j evica, Britof, Podinscek, Budigoj, Gala Brdo Neblo, and
Vrhovlje. All check points are equipped with one or two Skoda machine guns,
six to seven Soviet automatic weapons, twelve rifles, and ten hand grenades
a Second Lt. Kostusic. Agents frequently arriving from
the border are received by these two men.
3. The chief of the 10S services in Tolmin is a Lt. Kocijan. His assistant is
