In mid-June 1951, a VP infantry school was located in the former police
school near the Domplatz in Lrfurta It had a ration strengtn or 05?U police
and was organized into a headquarters and 8 infantry training companies
-th an authorized strength of 3.12 men each., All officers of the school
had graduated from police courses,, and most of them were members of the
fox er German Armed is orcos? A Soviet officer wearing the uniform of a
VP Kommandeur was liaison officer to the Soviet Army. The school trained
pi?ospootive VP officers to be platoon and company commanders.
According to the stook list of the main ordnance room, the school was
equipped with one Soviet 120-mm mortars 4 bov1et d0-mm mortars., 3 heavy
