(1) The alert flight consisted of four jet fighters with the rod numbers 6750 685, 4920 and 16. TAY hzdrhite-berdered Soviet stars. Plane No 16 was the only one with a yellow horizontal stripe on, the upper edge of its rudder aesembly. Six jet fighters were parked north of the alert flight. 'These planes had two-digit red numbers and a'yellow stripe on the rudder assembly.. The remaining jet fighters were parked in front of the hangars. (2) A large trailer with windows, 4 tank trucks, 2 trucks, and 1 jeep wore parked next to the alertfljght. NO railroad ears re seen on the spur track, but nine large aircraft.cratesp,indluding four boxes for rings, wore :stored on the leadinf!, raMp. The number 2470 2480 2490 and 250 were seen on the last four crates (3) 3. Four jet aircraft of tho alert flight with the numbers 130 160 210 and 62 were parked on the southern edge of the field at 10:15 aam. on 15 June. Four additional jet planes were parked in front of the large hangar uhidl was openo Eight jot aircraft practiced formation flying in separate elements of two over the field. At 6 p.m, on 16 June, Pour alert planes with the numbers 12, 62, 50, and 661 wore seen at the field. There WAS no flying. 4,, At 9:10 a.m. an 18 June, a three-engine transport with a double.radder assembly and eie:ht square windows on the fuselage aft of the wings landed at the field. It came from the east. The plane taxied to the large hangar and took off again at 1020 a.m heading rest. The same plane had landed at the field about four to six weeks ago. (4) fine jet planes were seen on the southern edge of the field at 11 a.m. Fourteen jet planes practiced flying after 12:30 p.m. The planes of the alert flight seen at noon on 19 June had the numbers 12, 18, 58, and 661. No flights were made. The same stand-by planes wore parked on the southern edge of the field between 3:30 and 400 p.m. on 20 June. Jet planes r.o 210 380 662, and 749 -JAIrso towed_out_of the large hangar and then took off from the field at 4:30 part,, An additional_ 16 jet planes wore counted at the field. A gray-green biplane with the blicx number 20 on its fuselage circled over the field. A biplane seen on 21 June had the black number 21. 50 V,R . . There was no flying betueen noon and 4 p.m, It was Tininr. The noise of flying jet aircraft WE9 heard during the iirrht of 28 June. The alert planes seen on 2V Jane had the flwa'rers 39, 40, 59, and 600 li the aircraft numbers were red. The planes with two-digit TuAbers had a colored diagonal stripe on the rudder assemb1y iLereas the planes with three-digit numbers had no such stripe. 1 truck occupied kr five sentries was parked at each end of the 25X1 B inry durinfr The sentries watched all pedestrans0 were seen at the field, 25X1A Cm:cents. Th- airfield is occupied by two fighter regiments and one fighter givisios headquarters, The regiments are equipped with TAG-15s, al;.-11s and P0-2s. k Previously, 52 MiG-15s with red two-digit numbers were observed0 sr addition to tmo-digit numbers, three-digit numbers of the 4000 5000 600, and 700 series have also been recently seen at Grossen- ;AJn airfield. It is possible that the aircraft previously 'searing tas-digit numbers have been elven new numbers recent1y. The teu numbering system is not known. 1 it has not been determined whether the aircraft crates are numbered consecutively.
