1? Five hundred men have been selected from Lungchvuan (97?55, 24-20)., Juili
(97W .9 23- ),, and Luhsi (103-45,0 24-31) for training in Kunming and Tali
(104--11, 25-43). These men are reportedly the core of Communist troops
for the liberation of Burma and the destruction of Nationalist guerrillas.
20 On 10 .August 46 Communist agents infiltrated into the Kawal district in
three groups. Six of the agents have been killed and one captured. An
interrogation of the agents showed that their sole purpose was to disrupt
the friendly relations between the Kowa natives and Nationalist troops.
3. The Communist 12 Army under YU Chien-hsun has replaced well-equipped
regular troops in meat Yunnan that have been transferred to Korea42 The
Communist 41 Division comm.ander3 in Paoshan has been transferred to
Manchuria.
4. Two hundred troops of the Nationalist 93 Division which were captured
recently by the Communist 121 Regiment have been executed for anti-Communist
activities. The head of the Communist Army construction corps at Lung-
ch?uan was killed by Nationalist agents on 8 August.
