In ra.r?ch 1951, about 200 Soviet troops t,ith small arms were observed at the
bar racks installations on the eastern perir:c ter of Kutno (Q 5310 9) and
the north side of u7., ^rszaweka The multi-story barracaks buildings were
built of brick and had a bills tin, ca; acitu of one rec;iiment0 Some of the
buildings were plastered with uluc hlaek colored chalk. (1)
A Polish ordnance end a .unition depot was locrited in the barracks instillation
near "klecki, about 3 ie:i cast of Kutno and south of the highway to ::arsraor,
The installation was situated in a virtually uninhabited regiono It consist-

Lwoska, southeast of the main railroad station, where about 500 troops were
quartered; and the barracks installation of five large buildings on the
