H.at No. --- 25X1X The Zbrojovka Brno plant in Vsotin is producing .51 caliber AA ammunition using a new type of explosive. The ammunition is knotm as 11T--5" and is of two types, marked "5-5111 and 1111-51" on the base of each cartridge. The entire production is sent to the [ SR.-441E 2. A non-metallic anti-tank mine, type "R0-5"9 is being developed in the laboratories of the Jablunka Armunition Plant (P50/033) near Vsotin. This mine requires a pressure of between 275 and 320 (sic) for detonation. Chemicals used in its manufacture are sodium bicarbonate, tritol, pentrit (possibly penttaerythritol tetranitrate )aid hexogen. Mass production of this type of mine Is expected to begin in January 1952. Elektrosvit National Corporation is to deliver the plastic covers, Povazake Strojarne is to supply the machine parts; the Jablunka plant will fill and assemble the mines. 3. The Ornn.ia Works in Trencin is expected to begin construction of Katyusha-type rocket launchers mounted in groups of eight tubes on trailers.
