C unist volunteers., and several unidentified Soviet advisers went to
ich'on (1263., 38-3o) from Pyongyang on an inspection trip. PENG's
plan was to establish an advance command post at Ich' on and to concentrate
the main arngr strength there for a drive against Seoul after the cease-
fire negotiations break down,

scat up an air force advance command post at P'yongyango On 21 August l9 a.,
LIU Yaaloub commander-in-chief of the Chinese Communist Air Force., and
Colonel Po?-lungk'o., a Soviet adviser., went from Mukden to Pyongyang
on an inspection trip. All airfields in North Korea are expected to be
serviceable by the end of September 19510
