opposing the Nationalists along the Yunnan-Burman border. Burmese forces
are on the rear of Nationalist troops. The Nationalists have withdrawn
from Mongyang (99-52, 21.50) to the area north of Kengtung (99-36. 21-17)
with. one group at Dot Tun, north of Takhilek. Nationalist forces are
now estimated at slightly more than 10,000 men

resignation as comr:anding officer of the 161 Regiment.
