1. Chinese Communist and Korean plans regarding cease-fire negotiations are
to eta].]. until about 1 October, when an all out offensive will begin. The
offensive will be supported by about'., 1,960 tactical aircraft in 16 divi-
alonsa All these aircraft we stationed in Menchuria.
2. Recently, Chinese Communists have been replacing Soviet pilots of jets and
other aircraft. The changeover occurs in Taingtao, and from there the
planes move to Manchurian bases.
3. Soviets are still flying jets from bases in Kwangtung and on Hainan Island.
