The bridge--building equipment previously observed at the Elbe itiver bend near
Yolte was no longer seen on 6 August 1951. Local residents said that the
equipment had been shipped to the troop car..p at the end of July and the beginning
of Aut,uat. About 10 rocket launchers were observed .~;ith troops v;bo were
bivouacking in the voods 500 to 600 meters northeast of Polte. One of the
rocket launchers was
