1. The headquarters of fortification oonstru?tion in this area is located
in a house to the left of the road leadino from the port of Hudva to the
town post office. The commander is an unidentified major, and his staff
comprises a number of infantry and scout or observation officers. The
manpower supplied is that of a company from the workers battalion. The
man, of which there are approximately 60, are housed in barracks in the
port area. Miscellaneous material, which is transported to Budva in
vessels of the Yugoslav Navy is unloaded and then transported to the
sites of construction, the most active of which are currently the areas
near Sv. Spas and Ostror.
2. The headquarters command of a KNOJ company is located in a house between
the fortification construction headquarters and the post office. The
commander is an unidentified second lieutenant. His men work both in
the port area and on the fortification projects.
3. In the middle of gay 1951 numerous old field cannons were observed in the
Fort of Budva, where they were loaded on vessels of the Yue*oslav Navy.
A short time thereafter, new artillery equipment arrived in Budva, and
was transported after dark to some points in the interior.
4. Various fortifications are beine' constructed alono' the coast to the south
of Budva, as far as Uloinj. The number of workers employed and frequent
explosions of"mines would indicate that these are laro'e scale projects.
KNOJ patrols guard the coast and keep the fishin/I vessels at a distance.
