SeTtember Southbound road traffic, Lenkoran to Astara:
Thirteen trucks carrying sawdust, timber, and. lime;
eight carts carrying barbed wire; 14 civilians;
one jeep carrying two officers.
Northbound road traffic, Astara to Lenkoran:
Nine trucks carrying empty barrels; ten carts
carrying wood and six desks.
Westbound road traffic, Astara to Nas jed Mahalleh:
Six trucks carrying flour and line; five carts
carrying wooden eases and barbed wire,
Eastbound road traffic, Masjed Mahalleh to Astara:
Four trucks carrying firewood and two desks; six
officers on motorcycles; two jeeps carrying three
officers.
East and westbound road traffic between Masjed
Mahalleh and the last post west: Five trucks carry-
ing 48 armed soldiers; 21 carts carrying wooden
cases, firewood, and barbed wire; 16 armed soldiers
on foot; 1 6 armed soldiers on horseback; four autos
