During June Chinese Communist military authorities in Peiping, in order to
facilitate military shipments in Kansu, and Sinkiang, authorized the Worth-
West Military Az'ea Command to organise four additional track regiments, The
organization of these four regiments was completed by 1 August with veichies
provided by the USSRO In late August one (sic)). of each of these regiments
mre at Hemi (93-2?, 12-.b8) m d P a ingli ang (106--29, 35-31). According to es-
timates by the Read Transport Service Northwest Military Area Comm,nd, that
command is capable of transporting 7,000 tons of military supplies monthly
between Sinkiang and Shensi.
