1. A Chinese Communist logistics base is at Kusong (125+15, 39?59) (XE-9228),
There are 4,000 troops in the area; 1,000 of -these troops are attached to
an artillery unit. The base tranships 120-mm. mortars and 120--inm. Chisteli
(sic) types field guns to enemy frontline units.
2. An unknown number of Chinese Communist troops deserted their unit and
fled to the vicinity of 1yohyang Mountain (126-13, 39-56), (BV-6227), One
company of Chinese Coiizaunists was completely wiped out when the men attempted
to desert under orders froja a rebel company commander on 20 August.
