l In late July 1951, the Tur track at ':,elzow airfield -was extended as far
as point 119.2. (1) Abiat 100 airfield rorkers had been detached to
Drowit72 airfield lothere they were quartered in barracks, The workers were
'allegedly to be emplopd for excavation work at the airfield, (2)

The width of the runway was estimated at VO neters.

(4) The mixture lonsists of one part of cement aml about 5 parts of gravel
and crushed stones. The crushed stone is of ;rood quality utile the .sravel
is impure. The color or the cement indicatee a rather poor quality,
insufficiently consolidated. It is believed, therefore that a runway .
surface built of this material will not withstand continuous 1,344' strains.
