THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
The Institute for Naval Projects (IPRON.AV) was founded in December 1950,
Its main offices are in Bucharest nd_-th a bran,.h office in Braila? A-1though
the original plan called for 300 employees in Bucharest and approximately
100 in Braila, lack of funds has limited the number to 120 in Bucharest
and 35 in Braila.
2. The purpose of the Institute is to draw up plans for the building and repair
of naval craft. Although it was hoped that such offices would be established
throughout the country's shipyard centers, activity has been lirelted,
