THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. Older Yugoslav !Camel reservists recently were called up, 1,000 reporting
to Pull and 500 to Rijeka, for a period of training.
2. In Slovenia, notable numbers of men aged 38 to 40 have been recalled to
military service. Men in these classes first served under the old
Yugoslav regime Upon receipt of draft notices?
many refuse to believe that they are being recalled while others Mho
attempted to escape service by presenting medical certificates or similar
excuses have been imprisoned.
3. There are no other visible military preparations of a special nature in
Slovenia.
Comment: Reports continue to be received of the re-activation
of former Royalist naval personnel into Yugoslav naval reserve units. '
