. On 8 October 1951, the bulk of the 175th Tank -2egimnt of the 25th Tan'. Division
left Tc:?:iplin area allegedly for excreis a on the rlbc River. On 10 October?
Gerian employees of the Soviet unite at Ter:ipl.in urre sent to Prenzlau allegedly
to prepare the Fliegerhorat Ka,`scrne, hitherto unocou'picd, for occupation.
On 17 and 18 Octo1j r,, components of the engineer battalion of the ;7th Guards
Motor zed itifle T)lvision a nd c1c': r ~xts of. the 27th Guards Sign. 3. ?3atta1!.on
of the 29th Guards Motorized iti1c Corpe returned to Uaumburg,. On 17 October,

At 100 hours on 19 October.,. a convoy of vehicles with troops of the 25th :'an'.

At 0900 hours on 20 October, about 125 vehicles of the 94th Guard ?-otorizod
:Zific Division with I' 500 soldier:, ton 122-ass howitzer, and 15--20 heavy mortars
were assembled on the Gant_ikoir Kyritz road? They departed tamrd Jucterhausen
at 1100 hours.
On 23 October, one train was loaded at iknth .ldens1cben railroad station with
an un movnn number of armored reconnaissance cars and other vehicles of the
10th Guards Tanks i)ivision.. On the same day, another train was loaded there
with an urema n n?. ber of soldiers and vehicles. The unit could not be
identified.
Of ton troop trains loaded in ;chvic nitz on 16 and 17 October, two were dis-
patched to Meissen, one to Oschatz and one to Leipzig. The destination of
