I., The 11ectromotor Factory at Tirisoara is located at Vacarescu and Republicei
Streets in Timisoara< There is a railroad spur line and a railroad
-turntable which services this factory. There re two buildings; the Old
Factory is a four,-story brick building measuring about 12 by 35 meters in
which there are about. 300 workmen employed. The New Factory is described
below.
2,, There is an administration office 'in a two-story brick building measuring
10 by 35 meters and a technical office in a 'single story.brick building
measuring 10 by .. meters An size A Stara, a ` area, is located in a single
story brick building 20 by 40 meters in size.
31 The New 3Pactory building ~( see attached sketch) was erected between March
and November 1947, on the instructions of the Ministry of Reconstruction.
The work was carried out by the Timisoara section of No. 2 Sub-Directorate
Arad of the 3ovromconstr?uctii Service, at an expense ''ax gLng between
15,000,000 and 18,000,000 lei.
4., It was a reinforced concrete building covering an expanse of 4,000 square
meters and measuring approximately 50 by 80 meters,,
It was to be used for the repair and construction of electric motors and
turbines,
