1. The area around the Boddenwerft near Stralsund is being made srsller because
of the exyansion of Puetnitz airfield.

that time. The civil population of Puetnitz has been evacuated, The farmers

were not at the field, Work was proceeding day and night. At night, the

These trucks were all ZIS 5 ton models with trailers. The entire area of the
field will probably be 700 hectares.
2. At the entrance of Fuerstenwaldo airfield and along the Chausss there are
12 guns in heavy emplacements. These guns have a barrel about 1.5 meters long
with a muzzle brake. Underneath the barrel of each is a pedestal and a trigger
mechanism which brines the gun into firing position. Under the barrel is a
brake or recoil mechanise which constitutes about or 1/3 of the gun. The
magazine is fastened in a perpendicular position while the gun is in operation
and is protected by a easing. A guard equipped with a machine pistol was seen
at each gm.
