THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. On 12 October 1951 the main office of the People's Bank, Peiping,
transported all the silver dollars and silver bullion in the
Government silver deposit center on Hsi Chiao Min Hsiang (1
to the Chosen Men railroad station at Peiping, for shipment from there
to the USSR by the Peiping Mukden Railroad. About 30 trucks brought
the silver, which was packed in 1,500 cases, to the station. The total
weight of the silver and cases approximated 90 tons.
2. This is the third shipment of silver dollars and bullion to the USSR
from the People's Bank,Peiping, with a total of about 50 tons sent in
November 1950 and February 1951 In early October the Bank ordered all
its branch offices to send their entire supply of silver bullion and
dollars to Peiping for shipment to the USSR.
