During the first half of September 1951 the Central and South China Military
..Area sent over 1,900 Tow-rardting military cadre personnel to fanning to
assist the militia training program of the Kwangsi Military District and
to improve qualifications of Kwangsl militiamen. Over 1,300 of these
cadre personnel were corporals and sergeantsg the remainder were company
and platoon grade ofaicers. On 14 September they arrived in Nanning via
the Ronan-Kwangsi railroad, As of 21i September they were quartered at
the old site (sic) of the Nanning Military College and were awaiting
assignment.,
