THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
North Korean Labor Party officials in late October were maintaining that
North Korea will never give up.territory north of the 38th parallel. The
North Koreans may agree on a truce at the present battle line, but at the
earliest opportunity they will regain it, by force if necessary. The
Soviets and Chinese Communists have promised the North Koreans to assist
them with arms and men.
The North Korean Labor Party recently issued an order to party members
only which instructed each party cell to organize a "Collective Farmers
Force" to work on government collective farms under government protection.
The farm laborers will be pro-United Nations or pro-RON Koreans, or families
of North Korean army deserters, or refugees who fled south with the United
Nations forces in December 1950.
