The political secretary of the District Committee of the Communist Party in Kocane is Blagoe Popov, a former minister in Skoplje. The collective has 21 brigades. In early 1950 the collective had about 4,000 sheep; in August 1951 there were 2,000 sheep and 150 cattle,, In 1950 the working members of the collective received three kilograms of wheat per working day, but members of the families not working received nothing.
