1. On 20 November 19518, a large group of Legislative Yuan members called on
CHIANG Kai-shek and again demanded the resignation of Premier CH'EN CH'eng.1
The Generalis^ir?o angrily replied that .,e would support t',e Premier re-
garr.less of tho legislators' feelings.2
2. On 23 November the Premier attended a meeting of the Legislative Yuan,3 and
at t?,;t time he was severely criticized on the following points:
a. It was claimed that his action in discharging SU lb-]in fron- the Cdlt
Administration4 was unconstitutional since the Jondtitution provider,
that certain organs are entitled to ; henri.n.g without prejudice Wore

b His recommendation that Le i ylative Yuan members' sraarios be cut from
