REPORT NO.
1. Over 20,000 construction workers who have been working on the Laipin-
Chennankuan branch of the Hunan-Kwangsi Railway have been requested to
volunteer their services for Korea by the Propaganda Department of the
CCP Committee for Kwangsi. An Aid-Korea Volunteer Railway Engineering
Team has been organized by the Propaganda Department of the CCP.Committee
for Nanning and the Hunan-Kwangsi Railway Administration.
2. On 28 October the first group of volunteers left Nanning by train for the
north. They were:
a. 1 Volunteer Engineering Team of about 150 persons.
b. 2 Volunteer Engineering Team of about 150 persons.
e. 3 Volunteer Engineering Team of about 150 persons.
d. Volunteer Railway Transport Team of about 50 persons.
