THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
Residents and refugees in the P'yong3rang area who live near military
installations were being evacuated northward prior to mid-November, and
unidentified troops were moving in. The troop strength in this area has
doubled in the last monthl0 The North Korean Army appears to have 60
percent more tanks and artillery than at the beginning of the war, and
both items were being moved into this area beginning in October 1951.
