Artillery ammunition loaded in Tulkow on 19 October included: 12 boxcars for 1 ockrehna; 2 boxcars for Rathenow; 1 boxcar for Toepchin; 4 boxcars for Jueterbog-Altes Lager; 11 boxcars for Altengrabow; 8 boxcars for Finow; 1 boxcar for Lamitsch; L boxcars for Dannenwalde; and 15 boxcars for Frankfurt/ Oder, probably for further. dispatch to Brest Litovsk. Each shipment included a car with escorting personnel, the shipment to Altengrabow had two cars with escorts. 3. On 9 October, source learned that, contrary to previous information, the motor pool, kitchen, service station and workshop of the ammunition depot were located on Wulkow Estate and the officers were billeted in an adjacent estate. The ranking officer was a major. 25X1 C !. The German personnel employed at the depot was dismissed without notice on 27 October,and were not permitted to enter the depot area the following day. The work, formerly done by the Germans, was taken over by Soviet soldiers. Prior to their dismissal, the German workers were engaged in clearing up work and were not allowed to leave the area assigned to them. (5) 25X1 A omments.
