1. Prior to danunry 151, the forler Infanterie Kaserno on the southwest side of ul.
:ickicwicea in Stettin (0 54/; 55), across from the Soviet-occupied eection on
the northeast side of that street, was occupied by a Polish ".70P (Border Guard)
unit eC uudeterminee streneth. It coesisted of 3 buildincs facinc the street
and 3 parallel Luildincs in tie roar. Another smaller buildine =Is on the north-
west oide of t!-Ie biliotinc area. The instellatioe, which had not been demaeed
durin th rex., was transferred by the Soviets to the Poles in 1949. Seldiers
seen there were between 20 and 22 year," old and wore Polish Army uniforms and visor

ul. :'iekiewicta and on the east side of ul. 'ornyhory. At least to ,:traces were
in the northern section of the biletiee area and a large carafe was on the west
side of ul. Janiekieeo. All quarters were occupied by soldier who wore brown
Polish lerty uniforms and visor-type ceps with rod bands and served their period

or field exercise, was observed near the terminus of streetcar line 7 on u).

fied Polish tank, artillery, infantry and signal units were report?ed to be
locaed in March 1951.
