2. Following the formation of the Executive Committee, the congress decided
upon the formation of -a committee under Col. The, with the mission of
expanding the,front on a national scale. Vu Hong Khanh was named as an
advisor to the Influence Committee. As a result of the work of this
committee over several months, representatives of the Dan Chu Cap Tien
of North Vietnam. and of the ethnic minority groups have now joined the
front.
3. Economic Condit. Forces of the National-Resistance Front are being
aided by the population of the area in agriculture and forestry activities
They are also being supmrted by several economic groups in the city,

recover arms caches left in the area by the Japanese. The location of these

5. Troop Rations, In addition to rice and other food, each soldier received
a small daily allowance for tobacco and other expenses. Officers of the
front receive the same allowances and live in the same manner as the troops.

Propaganda. Radio propaganda of the front is supplemented by a weekly
bulletin entitled Duoc Giai Phong. (Torch of Liberation).
