1. According to available information, all jet aircraft which have arrived In
the Russian Zone of Germany have oo^ae by rail. Between 5 and 28 August 1951,
a total of 136 cars loaded with crated aircraft were observed en route from
the USSR to the Russian Zone of Ger-aarir. It could not be determined how much
of the total number of aircraft these 136 cars Mepresent.

3. Aircraft crates were usually observed empty on the day after their arrival at
the airfield. It was assumed that the aircraft were, therefore, ready for
operation one or two days after arrival at the field.
