There was a thick ground fog and a continuous drizzle. Visibility was about 100 meters. No noise of engines was heard. There was an unusual silence along the wooded area north of the field where the barracks installations were located. The houses on the southern perimeter of Falkenberg, which were previously occupied by Soviet dependents, were not lighted after nightfall. # 25X1A # Comment According to previously reported rail shipments and. other obser va' ons 'the two fig* r regiments left Alt-Loennewitz in early October 1951. It appears that the regiments were transferred to the U.S.S.R. 25X1X last observed the fighter regiments on 3 October 1951. The fighter division headquarters was observed up to 9 November, which may indicate that the fighter division headquarters is still in Alt-Loennewitz. Except for the observations made on the barracks installations and quarters, no information which would confirm the transfer of the regiments. 25X1X Approved For Release 200 & / 'c1A~RDP82-00457ROO9900100001-5
