Troops were observed engaged in drill in small groups and record practice with rifles and machine guns. Hardly any movements of 25X1 C vehicles and troops were the pur eriod from 16 to 25 Novrnber0 Vehicles . It was rumored among the local population that the troops would vacate the installation. 2. Between 2 and 5 No \miller, only a few soldiers wearing rod-bordered black epaulets and black-bordered crimson epaulets were seen in the Flak Kaserne on Schaalaer- strasse. No training activity was noticed. With the exception of one vehicle of the 45th Gds Zner Bn of the 371="7"-siazRifle Div, the present report mentions no vehicles and heavy weapons of the divisionfs components which have been carried in iudelstadt to date. Contrary to most of the other divisions whose return movements from troop training grounds to their home stations have been reported, no information has been received on the return of components of the 39th Gds Ltz Rifle Div to Rudolstadt and Saalfeld from the Ohrdruf troop training grounds, In addition, 25X1,C the the division headquarters, which was previously located in the revenue office of Rudolstadt, was confirmed in Ohrdruf as theConsienee of fuel shipments as late as 3 November. According to these circumstances and in conjunction with the present report and a report by the same source:rom Saalf024 it is possible that the majority of the divisionts components,. from Rudolotadt 25X1 A and Saalfeld may have remained at Ohrdruf? and that the rear details from those posts also rejoined their units in jhrdruf. See . On the other hand, the 112th 3ds Ltz ?line Aegt was confir xF15r its as still in Plauen on 12 November 1951. No information has been received on the 117th Gds25X1C Utz Rifle 1 gt in Meinineen since the beginning of Septenber 1951. All but one 25X1 C of the mentioned in the present roeort indicate the presence in PaIdelstadt of:headquertere units of the XXVIII Cdo ntz Rifle Corps from the Reuss Kasernee Gera, in Novenber.
