ha.; been accomplished by flanging the stator of the generator to the block of
the: diesel engine, The rotor of the generator is connected to the main shaft
of the diesel engine by a flexible coupling. Hall bearings support the rotor
where it passes throu , the end of the diesel engine. The diesel generator,
is mounted on tbO chassis of the car with a three,-point spring suspension.
The control cabs on the two motor cars are connected. by electric remote control.
