THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION,
1. The Soviets-have turned Tsingi:ao into a naval training center for the
Chinese Communists. The naval school there has increased its student body
to over 2,000 students selected from among cadre members who have joined
thq as d forces. The nominal princi 1 of the school is RSIAO Chin-kuang
( 1 =L )with T'AO Tien ( rt1 and TENG Chao-hsiang (J= )h 44 ) as
vice-p rinci ls. Despite this apparent hierarchy,, the main responsible
figs and instructors are Soviet naval men.
2. The school is, divided into the following sections: ocean navigation,
piloting, tele-commmicsti.ors, mechanics, staff work, and combat.
