THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
During 1951 the Tientsin-Puk?ou Railway Administration mobilized 50,000
laborers for the construction of a railroad from Yuehlenr (116-38, 36-57)
to Linch'ing (115-42, 36-51) via Kaotlang (116-13, 36-53J and Heiaching
(116-00, 36-57). During the winter of 1951, this line was opened to
traffic and work was begun on the extension of the line to Kuantlao
(115-24, 36-39) and Taming (115-04, 36-14). In late December the road bed
was laid from Linch'ing to Liaoch'eng (115-57, 36-28). This line will
facilitate the transportation of cotton and foodstuffs from west 'hantung.
