THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. Until 26 September 1951, there was no naval vessel either in the port or
the dockyard of Rijeka, and the only vessel of any interest was the in-
vasion barge which is based there.
2. In the naval base at Div lje, three new barrack blocks are being built and
it is expected that the base will be enlarged.
3. The three destroyers which Yugoslavia received as reparations
are in the Vicko Srstulovic naval dockyard? at OpIlt. ere vessels spend
a large part of their time under repair.
Twelve MTBs of a new type are being built in the Xorcula naval dockyard.
The only detail known is that their speed is to be 30-32 knots.
5. At Ear, a now naval lookout station has been erected on the hill above the
lighthouse. It is manned by a cadet and ten ratings.
